Job Description:Excellent position for a MEP/HVAC Project Manager with 4+ years of experience. EIT or PE is a plus but not at all required. MUST have a solid background designing and managing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection engineering and design. All or most work is performed REMOTELY! Responsibilities: - Plans, coordinates, and oversee MEP related activities throughout all phases of pre-construction.
- Manages of team of 15+ engineers to ensure their design and quality is code compliant, follows the client requirements, budget, and schedule.
- Communicate with clients on a regular basis for project updates and requests.
- The candidate will apply applicable codes and standards to all MEP systems for all projects.
- Conduct inspections and site surveys for existing conditions.
- 100% REMOTE
Qualifications: - 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Commissioning experience desired.
- Strong understanding of the NEC, local, state, and international building codes.
- AutoCAD capabilities are a MUST. (to check drawings, drafting is performed outside the US)
- Experience with HVAC systems in large multi-family and commercial buildings.
- Must be able to perform local field visits in the NYC area (30% of the time)
- Certified Energy Manager certification would be a PLUS.
- Prefer candidates with SCA experience or similar government agency.
- Prefer candidates with LEED AP Client+C
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, etc.
