Job Description:Immediate need for an Electrical Engineer. This is for a self-motivated candidate who can grow with the firm. The Engineer should be able to design Electrical Light and Power systems and related equipment under supervision of the Principal. Responsibilities: - Development of Electrical, Lighting, and Power Distribution systems.
- Layout of equipment related to Power Distribution systems
- Preparation of wiring diagrams, risers, lighting layout, etc.
- Preparation of all necessary calculations
- Knowledge of NEC standards and codes
- Perform on-site surveys and inspections as required.
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFI’s during construction
- Coordinate design requirements with other in-house MEP engineers
- Prepare all construction drawings and reports.
- Review drawings prior to client submission to ensure existing site conditions are accurately captured.
Qualifications: - 3-4 years of similar experience in Electrical Light and Power Design
- Familiar with NEC and NYC codes and standards
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Microsoft Office Suite.
